The Finlandia Hall

The Finlandia Hall

The Finlandia Hall (Finlandiatalo in Finnish) is one of the hallmark buildings of Helsinki and one of the most – if not the most – important buildings in Finland designed by Alvar Aalto. Today the Finlandia hall is mainly used for concerts and conference type events. The new Helsinki Music Centre – just a stone’ throw away – is nowadays giving the Finlandia Hall some serious competition. Many music events have now moved over to the Music Centre due to the much better acoustics of the Music Centre.
